Markets & Events 2026
I attend selected local events selling herbal teas (single herbs and blends) and medicinal herb plants, primarily in the spring. The teas are blended to support the seasons and cycles of life and, where possible, I grow the herbs.
To keep the number of “food/medicine miles” to an absolute minimum I am working towards making the teas 100% grown and blended in Cumbria and I try to travel to events within an approximate 50 mile radius of Kendal, Cumbria, UK.
28th Februray – Sedbergh Eco Market, St Andrew’s Church, Sedbergh, 10am-3pm.
28th March – Spring Market, Great Corby Village Hall, Carlisle CA4 8LR, 10:30-2:30pm.
4th April – Kirkby Stephen Craft and Food Producers Market, Winton Village Hall, 9am-4pm
10th May – Plant & Food Fair, Hutton-in-the-Forest, nr Penrith, 10am-4pm (Entrance £8)
30th & 31st May Brigsteer Secret Gardens, Brigsteer Village Hall, 10am-4pm (Entrance £7)
6th June – Kirkby Stephen Craft and Food Producers Market, Masonic Hall, 9am-1pm
12th June – Lancaster Midsummer Market, 10am – 5pm
14th June – Dalemain Plant Fair, 9:30am – 3:30pm (Entrance £6.25 per person)
21st June – Houghton Tower Farmer’s Marker 10am-1:30pm (£3 per car)
25th July – Lake Makers Fair, Staveley Mill Yard LA8 9LR, 10am-4pm
30th August – Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show, from 9am (Entrance free, parking charges apply)
20th September – Underbarrow Marrow Day, Underbarrow.
